THE family of Il Divo star Carlos Marin have claimed he "could have been saved" in Spain after the singer died from Covid in the UK.
The 53-year-old lost his life after he was admitted to Manchester Royal Hospital a fortnight after testing positive for Covid.
His sister Rosa confirmed he caught the Delta variant which attacked his lungs, leaving him in an induced coma in intensive care.
Madrid-based lawyer Alberto Martin said: "I spoke with his mum the day he died and she was saying she was convinced that if had been in Spain, he could have survived.
