He most recently portrayed Ben Sherwood on BBC medical drama Holby City from 2019 but departed the show in March last year. Sadly, like many in the acting profession, Charlie's planned theatre work was cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Charlie tweeted on Tuesday: "The play I was due to do has been postponed again so now I really would like a job. "Will accept anything.
