Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has a "mild case" of coronavirus, Egypt's team doctor Mohamed Abou Elela has revealed. The Egyptian FA announced that Salah had tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday and the 28-year-old missed his county's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Togo the following day as a result.
Speaking to the Associated Press about Salah, Abou Elela said: "He's a mild case - he doesn't have severe symptoms. He has to self-isolate in Egypt until his test returns negative and then, of course, he can travel back. "The concerns from the Egyptian authorities are because Mo for Egypt is special.
