Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA  (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Emily Andrea admits she's not sure lockdown will be enough to beat the Covid-19 crisis – after Boris Johnson plunged the country into a third one earlier this month.

The doctor opened up in her column with OK! revealing: "We’re in a national lockdown now and I think it’s good we’ve taken action, because things would have only got worse, but I don’t have much confidence that lockdown actually works. "We seem to have been doing it for nearly a year and not much has changed, but that’s not to say that I know what the right thing is, and I don’t think we have many options at the moment to prevent the NHS from becoming overwhelmed."
