Police were called at 8.55am on Sunday, March 28 to a report of a woman in her 70s returning from receiving a Covid-19 jab to a house on Rectory Green, Whitefield.

On the way back, the elderly woman was robbed of her mobile phone and bank card by a man. The woman was not injured but was left shaken by the terrifying attack, Greater Manchester Police has said.
