Hogmanay street party has been cancelled amid fears over the coronavirus pandemic. Tickets for the world-famous event have been on sale since January 1, but organisers behind the end of year party have taken tickets off the market.Those who have already purchased tickets will be offered a refund within the next 14 days.

Organisers Underbelly and the City of Edinburgh Council say they have been having ‘exciting and positive’ discussions over the programme for the end of year event.

The council say that it is having ‘positive discussions’ over how the city will celebrate Christmas and Hogmanay this year.
