Perth and Kinross beauty spots this Easter weekend to make sure COVID guidelines are followed. It comes after the Scottish Government confirmed the ‘stay at home’ message would change to ‘stay local’ from today (Friday 2).
With weather forecasts predicting sunny and dry weather on Friday and Saturday, it is thought residents will look to take advantage of the bank holiday and relaxation of the rules.
But Perth and Kinross Council and the police have joined forces to tell people to avoid busy places and maintain physical distancing.
Large gatherings, even outdoors, remain illegal, with only four people from two households allowed to meet up. Camping is also not permitted and people tempted to head to Perthshire beauty spots are being told to.
