SAMANTHA Womack was given a rapturous applause by theatre-goers last night following her brave cancer battle. The former EastEnders actress revealed back in August she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She looked incredible on Wednesday - her 50th birthday - playing the devilish White Witch on stage in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The star oozed presence in a beautiful cloak and leather ensemble, as a loud applause rung around the West End's Gillian Lynne Theatre.
Ahead of her performance and return to Narnia, Sam, who recently completed chemotherapy, said: "I'm back at work at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. "It's been a rough couple of months but I am blessed to be back."
