Every nursery will try to offer all eligible children two sessions a week initially.Every kid will get a place and the number of sessions offered could change over time.A “small number of full-time places” will be given to key worker parents needing childcare if there is room.Children were receiving 600 hours of nursery time annually before the coronavirus crisis.Every early childhood centre in East Ayrshire will work towards offering those hours again at a pace that complies with guidance.Priority will be given to certain kids, including those of key workers and those who are entitled to 600 funded hours of nursery time, according to a council report.Councillors signed off the plans at a private meeting of the executive.
