PRINCETON, N.J. - Authorities in New Jersey are searching for a man who allegedly tried to grab a teenage girl's buttocks as she entered her car. The Princeton Police Department said the incident happened Tuesday morning in the Franklin Avenue Parking Lot. According to police, the 17-year-old victim was entering her car when the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her left leg in an apparent attempt to grab her buttocks. The suspect, described by police as a 5-foot-5 Hispanic man, fled south through the parking lot towards Princeton Cemetery.

WILDWOOD, N.J. - Authorities say a swimmer from Philadelphia who went missing in the ocean off the coast of New Jersey was not found after an exhaustive search. The Wildwood Police Department said 19-year-old Alfred Williams was among a group of four swimmers who needed to be rescued from the water last Tuesday. Emergency crews responded to the beach near Andrews Avenue around 4 p.m. and observed two swimmers in distress at least 100 yards off the shore. The two swimmers were pulled from the water by members of the Wildwood Fire Department, according to authorities. A 3-year-old girl is in critical condition after being rescued from a pool in Camden County, and three people were pulled from the ocean off the coast of Wildwood.

MALVERN, Pa. - The Chester County District Attorney's Office on Thursday determined that an officer who shot and killed an armed woman during a wellness check at a townhome in Malvern last month was justified in using lethal force, according to a release. The investigation stems from an incident on the 800 block of Charleston Green on May 19. WASHINGTON - The Biden administration says it will cancel federal student loans for some 560,000 borrowers who attended the for-profit Corinthian Colleges chain. Under the new action, hundreds of thousands of students who attended the now-defunct chain will receive $5.8 billion in full loan discharges – the largest of its kind in the Department of Education's history. "As of today, every student deceived, defrauded and driven into debt by Corinthian Colleges can rest assured that the Biden-Harris Administration has their back and will discharge their federal student loans," Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said in a statement. PHILADELPHIA - A former Philadelphia police officer who was hurt during an arrest called out District Attorney Larry Krasner for offering a plea deal to the person who fired at him. Officer Patrick Keller said the D.A.'s office contacted him last week about a plea deal for the defendant of 4-8 years behind bars, plus three years probation. Keller, who now serves as a police officer in the suburbs, believes the punishment is not enough. Keller was one of two Philadelphia police officers that responded to a home on South 56th Street in late December 2020 for reports of a domestic incident.
