Dozens turned away after receiving text for booster jab

The HSE has apologised after 41 people under the age of 60 were incorrectly called in for a booster jab. They were sent a text to attend the Fairyhouse Vaccination Centre this week and had queued.

However, the administration of the vaccine to this group is not yet ready and could not be administered. The HSE said the vaccination centre is currently reviewing their scheduling process to "ensure this does not happen again". "The HSE apologies for any inconvenience caused," it said in a statement.
