Spain’s tourism industry is urging the country’s government to remove all entry requirements for UK visitors as the summer holiday season is underway.

It comes as France was the most recent country to remove all Covid rules for Brits last week. Only three EU and visa-free Schengen zone countries still have Covid measures in place for holiday makers coming from the UK.

These are Spain, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Currently travellers arriving from non-EU countries who are over the age of 12 must show a vaccination, recovery, or negative test certificate upon their arrival.

Spain does accept the UK Government’s Covid vaccine pass, WalesOnline reports. Parents honor son hit, killed while running across US to thank frontline workers
STILLWATER, Okla. - It was the point in their son’s journey when Mark and Julie Lambert started to feel at ease. They were initially worried and expressed concerns when 32-year-old Grady Lambert told them he was going to run across the country, from Oregon to South Carolina, to thank frontline workers at various hospitals for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic."He said, ‘I’m finishing this race one way or another, Mom,‘" Julie told FOX Television Stations. On August 28, Grady was nearly halfway done with his journey when he was hit and killed by a pickup truck driver in Carson County, Texas, near Amarillo. "The driver told the police that when he came over that crest [of the road], the sun hit his eyes and he did not see Grady," Julie said. Grady’s mother said she knew something was wrong because she always tracked her son’s progress via Life360, a location-sharing app. RELATED: Boy born with 12 fingers writes inspirational children's book: 'It’s okay to be different'On that fateful day, the app told her Grady was traveling 96 miles per hour.
