New Delhi: Notwithstanding the disruption to businesses caused by the second wave of COVID-19, the government is aiming to conclude privatisation of PSUs like Air India, BPCL and Shipping Corporation - where the divestment process has already started - this fiscal, sources said on Wednesday.The worst outbreak of pandemic in the country has led to disrupting the timetable of scheduled activities such as physical due diligence because of travel restrictions.But the process is likely to get back on track from September, the sources with the direct knowledge of the government's privatisation plans said.The process of privatisation of Air India, BPCL, Pawan Hans, BEML, Shipping Corp and NINL has already moved to the second stage after the.

Kate Garraway has reflected back on her and husband Derek Draper's heartbreaking experience with coronavirus over the last year.The 54-year-old presenter returned to our screens on Thursday to discuss the latest news headlines on Good Morning Britain.Kate and her co-stars Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard discussed the allegations made by the Prime Minister's former chief special advisor Dominic Cummings, who spent seven hours giving evidence to parliamentary committees about the government's response to the pandemic on Wednesday.Mr Cummings was highly critical about policies and individuals - including the UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock and Prime Minister Boris Johnson himself.Discussing the news on Thursday's edition of GMB, Kate explained:

Australia’s second most populous state of Victoria will enter a one-week COVID-19 lockdown forcing its near seven million residents to remain home except for essential business as authorities struggle to contain a highly-infectious outbreak.“We’re dealing with a highly infectious strain of the virus, a variant of concern, which is running faster than we have ever recorded,” Victoria state Acting Premier James Merlino told reporters in Melbourne.“Unless something drastic happens, this will become increasingly uncontrollable.”Merlino said contact tracers have identified more than 10,000 primary and secondary contacts who would need to quarantine, test and self isolate, adding “that number will continue to grow and change.” Australia
