Loose Women 's Denise Welch went on an explosive rant today as she questioned the hypocrisy of shops being open, clapping for carers being encouraged, but social distancing measures keeping families apart.
The women were back live as Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha and Brenda Edwards sat socially distanced in the studio while Denise joined them via video call.
Denise raged as she complained she cannot visit her elderly father, but she is allowed to stand in line in a hardware shop with lots of strangers, two metres apart.
She also slammed the government for encouraging the 'clap for carers' which has led to a "carnival" including the people who recently crowded on Westminster bridge for the clap.
