Denise Welch has insisted that her son's indie band the 1975 would not exist if it wasn't for her mental health issues. The former Coronation street actress, who is mum to the band's frontman Matty Healy, has joked that he wouldn't have had the material to write award-winning songs if it hadn't been for their 'rock and roll' household.
