PHILADELPHIA - Pop singer Demi Lovato and rapper Ludacris will take the stage at Wawa's annual Fourth of July concert on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The Wawa Welcome America Festival is two weeks long celebration across the city that features free family-friendly events, like Wawa Hoagie Day and four different nights of fireworks.

The festivities will culminate with a concert on the Parkway headlined by GRAMMY award-winning singer Demi Lovato, whose catalog includes songs like "Heart Attack and "Sorry Not Sorry."Ludacris, an Atlanta-based rapper who is known for songs like ‘Act a Fool’ and ‘Roll Out', will perform ahead of Lovato.

In addition to the concert on the Parkway, there will be other smaller concerts, including former Miss America Vanessa Williams singing patriotic music at Independence Mall on July 3.

(Leonhard Simon/Getty Images)BERLIN - Police in southern Germany said Monday that an American tourist who was pushed into a ravine during an attack near Neuschwanstein castle in which her 21-year-old friend was killed has been released from the hospital.The 22-year-old woman had tried to stop a 30-year-old Michigan man from allegedly assaulting her friend after luring them onto a trail leading to a viewpoint overlooking the famous castle, which draws more than a million tourists every year.The older woman fell nearly 50 meters (165 feet) down a steep slope but was able to leave the hospital Friday, police spokesperson Holger Stabik said.Both women were recovered by mountain rescuers shortly after the attack Wednesday, but the younger victim later died of her injuries in the hospital.FILE - Neuschwanstein Castle in the morning light.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are working to learn more about a crash in the city that left multiple people injured on Sunday night. Authorities say two vehicles were involved in the crash, which took place around 11 p.m. at the intersection of N Broad Street and W Erie Avenue. Officials say a 2010 Ford was going westbound on Erie Avenue when the driver drove through a red light and struck a 2005 Ford that was traveling southbound on Broad Street. The 2010 Ford then hit two pedestrians and knocked out a traffic light before coming to rest on the 1400 block of Erie Avenue.   FOX 29's cameras captured moments after the crash, where two cars could be seen damaged on the roadway. According to authorities, a 29-year-old man was driving the 2010 Ford.
