A defiant hair salon owner who racked up £17,000 in fines for opening during lockdown last year says she plans to do it again by reopening next week.
Sinead Quinn repeatedly quoted the Magna Carta in her efforts to justify operating her salon, Quinn Blakey Hairdressing, during the lockdown in November.
Ms Quinn, from Bradford, was hit with several fixed penalty notices by Kirklees Council for defying the rules. Earlier this month Yorkshire Live reported that none of her penalties had been paid - meaning she could face an unlimited fine in court.
