Danniella Westbrook has given fans a health update after she was rushed to hospital - and says she was just 'hours away from a cardiac arrest'.Just yesterday, the former EastEnders actress shared footage of herself in the back of an ambulance receiving gas and air, with a small tube wrapped around her face.But now, Danniella has updated her fans by sharing a selfie on Instagram saying she was grateful that Whipps Cross Hospital 'saved her life'.The 49-year-old said that she was suffering from a tight chest and urged others to keep an eye out for similar symptoms.

Taking to Instagram, she penned: "Whips cross just saved my life and I am forever grateful. If you have this flu bug and tight chest ring an ambulance I was hours away from a cardiac arrest my chest was so tight .

Now I need complete bed rest for a few days #blessed." And many fans flocked to the comments to send the former EastEnders actress well wishes.One wrote: "Get better soon gorgeous."While one added: "Oh babe I'm so sorry but so grateful ur OK rest darling x."Another commented: "Hope ur ok babe get well soon make sure you look after urself."This is not the first time Danniella has had to be taken to hospital for medical attention as back in May this year, she was hospitalised after suffering from Septicemia.The hospital dash came after Danniella went under the knife to reconstruct her face.
