Dan Walker has paid tribute to Her Majesty, The Queen. The former BBC Breakfast presenter took to twitter to show his admiration for the 96-year-old monarch as Buckingham Palace announced Her Majesty remains under “medical supervision”.
The 45-year-old television personality wrote: “The population of the UK is about 67 million people. The vast majority of us have lived our entire lives under the reign of the Queen.”READ MORE: Susanna Reid wishes Queen were 'immortal' in emotional post amid royal health scare He continued: “Easy to see why today’s news of ill health is so concerning to so many.” The Channel 5 personality added: “We hope for good news.” This comes after Buckingham Palace released a rare statement giving an update on Her Majesty’s health.A palace spokesperson wrote: “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.”They added: “The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.” The Queen’s four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward have rushed to be by her side in Balmoral as well as The Duke Of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cornwall and are either heading to or arrived at the Scottish estate.
Prince Harry is due to travel to Balmoral later today without his wife Meghan Markle, The Duchess Of Sussex according to the BBC.
