Aaron Carter accidentally drowned in his bathtub after taking prescription pills and inhaling gas used in spray cleaners, a coroner’s report revealed on Tuesday.The Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner said Carter, 34, had recently taken alprazolam, the generic form of Xanax, and inhaled difluoroethane, a gas commonly used in cans of compressed air, before his death. WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court is deciding whether women will face restrictions in getting a drug used in the most common method of abortion in the United States, while a lawsuit continues.The justices are expected to issue an order on Wednesday in a fast-moving case from Texas in which abortion opponents are seeking to roll back Food and Drug Administration approval of the drug, mifepristone.The drug first won FDA approval in 2000, and conditions on its use have been loosened in recent years, including making it available by mail in states that allow access.The Biden administration and New York-based Danco Laboratories, the maker of the drug, want the nation’s highest court to reject limits on mifepristone’s use imposed by lower courts, at least as long as the legal case makes it way through the courts. They say women who want the drug and providers who dispense it will face chaos if limits on the drug take effect.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating an incident that began at FDR Park and ended with lane closures on I-76 West. Authorities say police responded to a report of a shooting on Pattison Avenue in the area of FDR Park in the South Philadelphia section of the city just before 3 a.m. Officers who responded to the scene did not find anything initially, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. Small told reporters officers found a scene on the westbound lanes of I-76, where a Ford SUV and Infiniti Sedan were involved in a crash. According to authorities, the Ford had eight bullet holes and a 27-year-old victim in the back seat with a gunshot wound to the neck. Small says the shooting victim, who was unable to move due to the gunshot injury, was transported to Presbyterian Hospital, where he is in critical condition. Police say a 32-year-old woman was the driver of the Ford SUV. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESA 22-year-old man was driving the Infiniti and a gun was found on the vehicle's floorboard, authorities say. Investigators say a preliminary investigation revealed the drivers of both vehicles got into an altercation on the 1900 block of Pattison Avenue. According to Small, that's where crime scene technicians found 19 spent shell casings from the shooting. Officials say a PennDOT driver witnessed the incident and told authorities the two cars then drove at a high rate of speed the wrong way on I-76 West. The two vehicles eventually crashed on I-76 as police responded to the scene, police say. The 22-year-old driver of the Infiniti was taken into custody, according to Small. Lanes on I-76 West were closed for several hours but have since reopened. Police respond to lanes on I-76

FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. - A whale is stranded on the sand in Flagler Beach, not far from the Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area. The whale, which is approximately 15 feet in length and weighs an estimated 3,000 pounds, has beached itself several times after rescuers attempted to pull it back into the water.  A spokesperson for Flagler County tells FOX 35 News the animal is a Cuvier's beaked whale. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Cuvier's beaked whale, sometimes called "goose-beaked whales," are found in most oceans and seas worldwide and have the most extensive range of all beaked whale species.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Fire Department is on scene in Holmesburg responding to a hazmat situation. FOX 29's Jennifer Lee is on scene as first responders work on a home on Teesdale Street. Homes in the area have been evacuated and a large police and fire presence can be seen. The area from Frankford Avenue to Erdick Street is blocked off. Responders in hazmat suits were spotted entering the property. No additional information was immediately released by authorities. This is a developing story.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Mayor of Allentown, Pennsylvania, is speaking out after the city has seen two deadly shootings that left three people dead. According to police, the first shooting occurred on Thursday evening around 7:40 p.m. on the 500 block of North 4th Street. Responding officers found one person suffering from gunshot wounds and they were later transported to the hospital, where they died, officials say. Hours later, police began investigating a deadly double shooting just before 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning, according to authorities. Police say officers responded to the 100 block of East South Street and found a 21-year-old man and a 42-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds. The Allentown Police Department is investigating all three shooting deaths as homicides while autopsies are pending, police say. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESMayor Matt Tuerk released the following message after the deadly shootings: I'm sad to see the loss of life in our City over the past day.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify four suspects wanted in connection with a triple shooting in West Philadelphia that left teens injured. According to authorities, the shooting occurred on the 1500 block of N Frazier Street on Monday around 4 p.m. Police say a 13-year-old and two 16-year-olds were injured in the brazen broad daylight shooting. Officials say that the 13-year-old, who was shot in the abdomen, was transported to LankenauMedical Center and placed in critical condition. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOne 16-year-old was shot five times throughout his body and transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition, according to police. Authorities say the other 16-year-old was shot in the abdomen and taken to a local hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. On Thursday, police released surveillance video of the shooting, showing four masked suspects they say were armed with rifles and semi-automatic pistols.According to investigators, the suspects fired more than 60 shots before fleeing the area on Lansdowne Avenue. Anyone with information on this is urged to contact Philadelphia police or submit an anonymous tip online. Police say a 13-year-old and two 16-year-olds were all injured during a triple shooting in broad daylight on the streets of West Philadelphia.

Search and rescue workers personal six-wheel drive Pinzgauer military utility vehicle (Grand County Sheriffs Office) A group of Arizona residents and their dog have a search and rescue worker’s personal six-wheel drive military utility vehicle to thank for rescuing them from a snowy Utah trail.According to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office in Moab, Utah, the group accessed the Thompson Canyon/Polar Mesa trail at about 4,300 feet up while it was raining and snowing. Photo: DOJ SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose leader of a White supremacist group who goes by "King ov (sic) Wrath" was arrested Tuesday for allegedly threatening a journalist in Brooklyn, New York, the Department of Justice Announced. The complaint charges that Nicholas Welker, 31, the one-time leader of Feuerkrieg Division, an international racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist group, posted death threats against a Brooklyn-based journalist in a public online forum and his co-conspirators tweeted the death threats at the journalist for reporting on the extremist group.  The journalist and their outlet were not named. Efforts to immediately reach Welker and his attorney Wednesday were not successful. "Nicholas Welker used threats of violence in an effort to stop a journalist from reporting on the white supremacist hate group that he led," Breon Peace, US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York said in a statement.
