Yesterday, the Scottish Government confirmed there had been 26 coronavirus deaths and 4,917 new cases over the last 24-hour period.

The death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – now stands at 8,319.There are currently 1,054 people in Scottish hospitals battling the virus, with 94 being treated in intensive care.Some 4,146,847 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,791,597 have.
