Restrictions on international travel as a result of the Covid-19 virus are expected to be extended until 20 July under proposals to be considered by the Cabinet today.

Ministers will also review whether public health guidelines are being breached in pubs and other premises one week after they reopen.

The Taoiseach's first week in office was dominated by internal party matters. Mícheál Martin will be hoping the focus can now move to the business of Government, starting with a meeting of Cabinet this morning.

International travel guidelines in relation to Covid-19 will top the agenda. The requirement for people arriving here from abroad to quarantine for 14 days was due to be lifted on Thursday.
