COVID-19 cases start to creep up again in Perth and Kinross as latest death figures published

Perth and Kinross has started to creep up once again. And a further COVID-19 death was recorded in the region last week, according to the latest data.The most recent data from Public Health Scotland suggests an infection rate of 98.7 per 100,000 on August 9, up from 86.9 the week before - the first weekly rise since early July.That follows 150 positive cases, a rise from 132 the week before, with the proportion of positive tests now 3.6 per cent.Powmill, Cleish and Scotlandwell has the highest infection rate in the county, with 12 cases in a week meaning a rate of 277.Twelve neighbourhoods out of 35 are considered to have the virus suppressed for now.On Wednesday, figures from the National Records of Scotland showed that in the week.
