Health officials in London-Middlesex reported 151 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday as the number of people with the disease being cared for in local hospitals and intensive care wards hit a new record.The triple-digit increase — the 11th seen this month, more than any other month — brings the region’s pandemic case tally to 8,903, of which 7,492 have resolved, an increase of 116 from the day before.At least 193 deaths have been reported, most recently on Wednesday.As of Thursday, at least 1,218 cases were active in the region.Since the month began, London and Middlesex has recorded at least 1,719 cases.
