Coronation Street fans spotted several references to the coronavirus pandemic in the latest episode of the ITV soap. From conversations to changes to businesses, Weatherfield has clearly taken Covid-19 social distancing regulations very seriously.
The Rovers Return pub is currently only serving takeaway food, while staff are wearing minor PPE and only accepting card payments.
They also have a one-way system in place, with characters keeping a distance from one another. As well as regular mentions of the virus and reminders to follow the rules, there was also the use of face coverings with Sarah Platt wearing a mask at the hospital - while some fans believed she was wearing it wrong.
