Coronation Street has made several mentions of the coronavirus pandemic in recent episodes, and Monday's visit to Weatherfield was no different.
In fact, viewers noticed more nods to Covid-19 and lockdown than usual. From reminders to follow social distancing rules, to air hugs and even face masks, there was a heavy focus on the virus.
The Rovers Return pub remained opened as a food takeaway service only, featuring a one-way system and the request of card payments only.
Elsewhere, and in the café people had to keep their distance as other characters mentioned the lockdown in the UK. But one character went all out to protect herself, as she made a visit to both Roy's Rolls and the pub for food.
