On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed comments made earlier in the day by press secretary Kayleigh McEnany that he takes multiple COVID-19 tests a day, saying he takes a test on average every two to three days, but said it is possible it could happen that he does more than one in a day.

He also touted the country’s testing numbers, as Republicans and Democrats push for more funding for testing with delays in results being reported in different parts of the country, saying they were “leading the world” but if medical experts and doctors advise more testing is needed he’d be OK with it. .
