Morrisons and Lidl have installed cough-proof screens at checkouts to protect their staff amid the coronavirus outbreak. The supermarkets are rolling out the protective perspex screens as the UK goes into lockdown over the pandemic.

The likes of Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Morrisons, Iceland and Sainsbury’s have already been altering their opening times and putting in limits on the number of items people can buy.
