Coronavirus infection rates have fallen across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, data has revealed. Rates across the region are lower than the national average, as infections have dropped by nearly 30 per cent in the last week.

Stockport continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, with a rate of 739.6 cases per 100,000 people as of week ending February 3.

The lowest infection rate is in Oldham, where the rate is 490.3 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 594.5 cases per 100,000 population.
