Nicola Sturgeon will make an announcement on whether the covid vaccine passport scheme will be extended in the lead up to Christmas on Tuesday afternoon.

The First Minister will set out plans to the Scottish Parliament and outline her government's thinking on the measure. Plans to extend the scheme could mean theatres, cinemas and other hospitality venues will ask people to show proof of vaccination before entry.
