Coronavirus cases rise by 292 overnight with no new deaths according to Scottish Government

coronavirus cases have risen by 292 overnight with no new deaths being confirmed. The Scottish Government released the latest figures from the past 24 hours for Scotland.

It means the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – still stands at 7,664 .

There are currently 64 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with three being treated in intensive care.To date 3,020,335 people have received their first vaccination with 1,621,031 having a second jab.The figures come as most of the country prepares to move into level 2 tomorrow.From May 17, most of Scotland is set to go into Level 2, with a raft of new measures to be eased.One of the main restrictions to be lifted is.
