Coronation Street has announced that fans of the show will soon be seeing an on-air kiss between two of its characters, a first since the start of the pandemic.

This big kiss is due to take place on Wednesday night’s visit to the cobblestone. As part of the storyline in honour of pride month, footballer James Bailey, played by Nathan Graham, and love interest Danny Tomlinson, played by Dylan Brady, will share an embrace.

The dramatic storyline will see journalists pressure James with questions about his sexuality after pictures of him and Danny find their way onto the internet.
