Coronation Street star's 'legendary' gift for NHS worker after coronavirus battle

Coronation star Simon Gregson has made an incredible gesture to thank the NHS as frontline heros battle coronavirus. The actor was himself struck down by coronavirus and is now slowly recovering.

But he wanted to gift two of his prized possessions to one courageous worker keeping the country safe from the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

Simon, better known as Steve McDonald in the ITV soap, is donating his classic car and motorbike as a thank you and took to Twitter to share the selfless act with his followers.

He wrote: "Dear NHS workers I have two classic projects (car and bike) if you ride or drive and like fettling old machinery there yours. "Just a little thank you.
