CORONATION Street star Jack P Shepherd has stocked up for a coronavirus lockdown - with 12 bottles of wine. Jack, 32, headed to a giant supermarket to pick up some supplies on Thursday but found it rammed to the rafters with panic-buyers. ⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates The actor, who plays David Platt in the ITV1 soap, then decided to visit a branch of Marks & Spencer and couldn't believe his eyes.

Not only were the aisles empty, Jack was able to buy his essentials...a freshly baked loaf of bread, 12 bottles of red wine, teabags, toothpaste and shower gel.

Jack documented his shopping trip on his Instagram Stories, first showing a picture of a huge, snaking queue in a supermarket.
