PHILADELPHIA - Police in Reading, Pennsylvania, are investigating a swatting call from out of state that prompted a police presence at a fast food restaurant. Authorities say on Sunday, just before 10: 15 a.m., officers responded to a threat against the Wendy's on Lancaster Avenue. Police say information they received indicated an armed suspect was possibly hiding in a dumpster at the restaurant. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAccording to authorities, crews responded and cleared the dumpster. Police say the swatting call came from outside of the state. No additional information was released by authorities. 

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a robbery that left a man injured in the Oxford Circle section of the city. According to police, the incident occurred on the 6200 block of Large Street Sunday evening at 10:36 p.m. Authorities say officers responded to th scene for reports of a person screaming. Investigators say two suspects demanded to be taken inside the home of a 45-year-old, but when he refused, he was hit in the head with a gun and then shot in the left leg. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESThe suspects then fled northbound on Large Street in a blue Honda before police arrived, authorities say. The man was transported to Albert Einstein medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.

PHILADELPHIA - Questions remain unanswered in the days following the shooting death of Temple University police officer Chris Fitzgerald, including many about his accused killer 18-year-old Miles Pfeffer. FOX 29's Kelly Rule visited the property in Buckingham Township where Pfeffer was taken into custody less that 24-hours after Officer Fitzgerald was fatally shot in North Philadelphia. Despite people coming and going from the property where police say the teen lived with his mother, no one commented on the slew of charged brought against Pfeffer.Investigators detailed the deadly shooting that unfolded just after 7 p.m.

CALN TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Chester County District Attorney's Office is investigating a shooting involving police in Caln Township. According to authorities, the incident began on Wednesday morning just before 2 a.m. when police received information about a stolen vehicle being found in the parking lot of a Wawa in Downingtown.  (Caln Township Police Department)Officials say the suspect, identified as 56-year-old Richard Luminello, of Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, who stole the vehicle, stole another car from the Wawa parking lot and fled from officers attempting to stop him from entering a nearby neighborhood. Police say a Caln Township officer was at the intersection of Westerham and Shelburne Road to put up stop strips when Luminello crashed into the officer's marked police car head on at a high rate of speed. SKYFOX flew over Caln Township, where a suspect was shot by police after crashing a stolen car into a police cruiser.  The stolen car hit the police cruiser so hard that it sent the cruiser backwards about 40 years, according to the District Attorney's Office. Authorities say the officer, who was behind the cruiser, had to dive out of the way to avoid being hit by the impact. As the stolen vehicle eventually came to a stop after the crash, Luminello got out of the car and began walking away from responding officers, per police. Officers shouted commands to Luminello as they approached him, officials say.

HATAY, Turkey - Rescuers in Hatay, Turkey, successfully pulled a small dog from the rubble of a collapsed building after a deadly earthquake devastated the region earlier this month, and the whole rescue was caught on camera.The video, recorded by Gurcan Ozturk on Feb. 8, shows the dog, named Pambuk, taking sips of water while it waited patiently to be freed from the rubble by rescuers.According to an Instagram post, Pambuk’s owner had been in intensive care in a nearby hospital following the catastrophic earthquakes.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a shooting near Temple’s campus that occurred just blocks from where a Temple University police officer was killed in the line of duty Saturday night.Officers responded to reports shooting near Uber Street and Montgomery Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot four times in the leg and a 13-year-old girl was shot once in the right forearm. Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital.
