A supermarket worker with coronavirus is fighting for her life in a coma after serving customers without protective equipment, it has been claimed.
Clare Hill, 44, has been in an induced coma for the past five days, after falling ill and being taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
It was there that she was diagnosed with Covid-19, reports Mirror Online. Her husband, Steven, has since criticised her supermarket employer for not providing their staff with sufficient personal protection equipment (PPE) such as gloves or masks.
However, a spokeswoman for the company said there "is no evidence" Clare contracted Covid-19 at work. Mr Hill said: “She was just doing her job like everyone else.
