Vice President Kamala Harris coming to Philadelphia to discuss protecting reproductive rights

PHILADELPHIA - Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Philadelphia Saturday to host a roundtable discussion on reproductive rights.The visit comes more than three weeks after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a landmark ruling, which allowed states to have the final say about whether abortions will be legal.Harris, joined by several members of Congress, will meet with about 40 Pennsylvania legislators.Harris will express the Biden Administration’s commitment to protecting access to reproductive health care, including abortion access, according to a White House official.She will also reportedly encourage state leader to keep fighting to protect reproductive rights in Pennsylvania.

India set to achieve 200 crore Covid-19 vaccination mark: Mandaviya

NEW DELHI: India is all set to achieve the 200 crore Covid-19 vaccination mark as the country has administered over 199.71 crore vaccine doses to people so far under the nationwide vaccination drive, the union health minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday. “Witness the history in making! India under PM @NarendraModi Ji’s leadership is all set to achieve the 200-crore COVID-19 vaccination mark! Countdown starts!," Mandaviya said in a tweet. The country has administered over 5,43,35,849 booster doses to all eligible individuals above 18 years of age.

Texas couple arrested after dead baby found in their filthy apartment, police say
