Brevard County:The Brevard County Supervisor of Elections said they were approved to receive $588,280 after the office comes up with a 20% match.
Officials said the funds will be used to cover the cost of mail ballot expansion.Seminole County:Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Chris Anderson said his office is receiving $531,000 in CARES Act funds.
He said the money will help cover the additional expenses as more voters request a vote by mail ballot."That's going to help out greatly with the increase in vote by mail and just the cost of the supplies, the overtime that may be needed to get us through this season," Anderson said. Lake County:Hays said his office is receiving $300,000 in federal funds.
