Canada seeing a mental health ‘crisis,’ but more willing to speak about it, poll shows

A new poll conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs exclusively for Global News finds that there are rising concerns about mental health across the country, with 50 per cent of those surveyed in the high risk category of the mental health risk index.

Ipsos vice-president said the country is in “a bit of a crisis mode” with the number of people falling under this high risk category.

But the poll also showed more people were willing to talk about their mental health, with 53 per cent of respondents saying they would do so. .
