Burnley has overtaken Bolton as England's top coronavirus hotspot and Liverpool has climbed to No2 while the rate of new infections jumps across the country.
New data shows Burnley's rolling seven-day rate of new confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 256.4 from 145.1 in the week up to Wednesday, with 228 people testing positive.
In Just three days, Liverpool has moved six places to No2 on the list with a rate of 243.8, while Knowsley still has England's third-highest rate (241.9) as figures remain alarmingly high in the north.
With a rate of 235.1, Bolton, the previous No1, has dropped three places to fourth, while Newcastle is fifth after one of the biggest week-on-week increases (from 87.2 to 228.8) in the country.
