Boy, 9, dies after grandfather finds him drowned in bathtub: police

HOUSTON - Officials are investigating a tragic death in southwest Houston, where a 9-year-old boy died after his grandfather found him unresponsive in the tub.

It happened in the 15600 block of Corsair Rd. a little before 10 p.m. for calls of a drowning. Responding officers found the child's grandfather performing CPR on him. LATEST HOUSTON NEWSThe 9-year-old was then rushed to a hospital, where he died.

Preliminary information from the Houston Police Department is the boy was taking a shower when his grandfather found him unresponsive in the tub.

HAVERFORD TWP., Pa. - Haverford Township Police enforcing "zero tolerance policy" after a string of assaults involving teenagers happened over the weekend.Joe Walker, a parent of one of the teens assaulted, says video surfaced of a group surrounding and beating up his freshman son near the Skatium on Darby Road around 8:45 on Sunday night."It hurts me, because, ten on one is a bad situation," says Walker.
