Rajasthan: Getting one Covid shot mandatory to enter public places from June 28
Rajasthan government on Saturday made it mandatory for people to have at least one dose of vaccination to enter public places from June 28. The Gehlot government made this provision in a fresh set of guidelines on the pandemic restrictions. Government offices will now be able to open till 6 pm, while business establishments whose employees have been vaccinated can remain open for an additional 3 hours till 7 pm, the new guidelines provided.

Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) and Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan say they will be announcing a “horrific and shocking discovery” on Thursday morning. Work starts on locating unmarked burial sites at former residential schools in Saskatchewan The discovery is in relation to unmarked graves at the site of the former Marieval Indian Residential School, which was located about 140 kilometres east of Regina.“The number of unmarked graves will be the most significantly substantial to date in Canada,” a news release from the FSIN read.The FSIN said “hundreds” of unmarked graves have been discovered.

ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK, N.J. - An off-duty New Jersey correctional officer rescued an elderly man who had been stranded in open water off the coast of Ocean County for hours after his boat sank, according to police. New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association said Officer Chad Ammerman was alerted by a fisherman about an 82-year-old man who seen floating near the coast. Police were searching for the elderly man near where his boat sank but the current drifted him far away from the wreckage, police said. According to a press release, Officer Ammerman emptied a cooler and swam out 300 yards to the man in distress.
