An Ayrshire nurse who posted social media rants spreading conspiracy theories on coronavirus has been sacked. Tracey McCallum, from Darvel was suspended by NHS24 for spouting her own alternative “research” online – branding the coronavirus outbreak a “scamdemic”.
Now she has told a podcast host that she has turned her back on her career of more than 20 years to promote her controversial views.
