AUSTIN, Texas - Pfizer announced their COVID-19 vaccine trial of children 12 to 15 years old has shown 100 percent efficacy so far.
So far, vaccines have not been available to children under 16 years old, except those who joined the Pfizer study last year.
The 2,260 adolescents who signed up included patients of Austin Regional Clinic. "ARC had about 5 percent of that enrollment.
So 5 percent of those in the study came through ARC, from the community here from Austin," said Dr. Anas Daghestani, CEO of Austin Regional Clinic.
