Nearly 94 million passengers passed through Hartsfield–Jackson in 2022, an increase of 23.8% over 2021. "I am proud to announce that Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has once again been named the busiest airport in the world," said Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. "This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our airport staff, who consistently provide excellent service to our passengers, and to Atlanta’s status as a global economic powerhouse.
