TRENTON, N.J. - A person is dead after at least four cases of Legionnaires’ Disease popped up in one New Jersey county over the past several months, according to the Department of Health.Officials say two cases were reported in Mercer County this month. Both cases reportedly originated from Hamilton Township, which is served by Trenton Water Works.Two other cases were reported in April 2022 and December 2021.One of the four people infected with Legionnaires’ has died, according to officials.

PHILADELPHIA - Three teenagers were shot outside of a Popeyes in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia, authorities say. According to police, the shooting happened Monday night at 4th Street and Lehigh Avenue, after a Popeyes store closed. The three teenagers were all employees of the Popeyes location, authorities told FOX 29's Steve Keeley. Police say the employees were sitting in a car when they were shot. One of the teens died from his injuries and the other two employees are in the hospital, authorities say.   The car the employees were in could be seen riddled with bullet holes and evidence markers were placed in the street as police analyzed the crime scene. Authorities have not released any other information about the shooting or a possible motive in the case. A late night shooting in North Philadelphia left 1 dead and two others injured, police say. PHILADELPHIA - There have been over 750 carjackings in Philadelphia through the first seven months of the year, according to data obtained by FOX 29 from a law enforcement source.The report found that of the 758 total carjackings in Philadelphia between the start of 2022 and July 31, more than 500 involved a gun and over 500 happened when the victim's vehicle was parked. More than 90 delivery drivers have been carjacked in Philadelphia so far this year, and over 30 ride share drivers have been victims. Carjackings that happened while the vehicle was stopped occurred more than 50 times, according to the data first reported by FOX 29's Steve Keeley. Thefts that happened at a gas station, when the vehicle was left running or during an accident combined to account for nearly 60 carjackings.
