Six out of 10 Americans say the pandemic is improving, according to the latest Gallup poll, which represents the most optimistic portrait of American's attitude surrounding COVID-19 in the past year.Twenty-six percent of those polled say the pandemic is staying the same, and 14% believe it is getting worse.And though 7 out of 10 poll respondents said their lives have been seriously disrupted by the pandemic, some aspects of life are getting easier: Last April, 60% of Americans polled said they worried about access to COVID-19 tests, and now only 22% say the same.Walensky: 'We've seen this movie before'The optimism is linked to the steep decline of cases recorded since mid-January.
