(Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images) PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia 76ers will formally introduce James Harden to the media and fans on Tuesday. The team will be hosting an introductory press conference at their Camden, New Jersey training complex at noon to introduce Harden and veteran forward Paul Millsap. Both players were acquired ahead of last week’s trade deadline in a deal with the Brooklyn Nets that sent Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round picks to the Nets. You can watch their introductory press conference live on FOX 29 and FOX29.com. While Curry and Drummond made their Nets debut on Monday night – with Simmons in attendance on the bench – Harden is not expected to take the court for the Sixers until after the upcoming All-Star break. The Sixers are still eager to test out the partnership between Harden, a 32-year-old former MVP, and Joel Embiid. The 76ers are getting an MVP-worthy year out of Embiid, and team President Daryl Morey — who was in the front office with Houston when Harden played for the Rockets — made the deadline deal to ensure the Sixers have plenty for the championship push.Embiid leads the league in scoring with 29.4 points and has scored at least 25 points in 30 straight games.

'Stop blaming Covid for everything' Gino D'Acampo fumes at 'excuse' of failing businesses
ITV.The TV chef has spoken out in a new interview about many "blaming" Covid for their failures, as his businesses go from success to success.Gino has insisted for many to "stop blaming Covid for everything" as he looks to a bright future in his business ventures.Speaking to The Mirror at his restaurant in Newcastle, he said: "It's becoming such a lousy and annoying excuse to say because of Covid I couldn’t do my job properly, or because of Covid we couldn’t do this and couldn't do that."He sympathises, however, admitting that he knows the restaurant industry has had to go through many changes but he has remained positive and adapted to the situation. He continued: "Throughout the pandemic at some points we had the chance to have guests sitting outside and the councils around us were extremely generous to give us the space to put tables."And we then realised, 'Wow, we should have done this from day one'."So, [let's stay] positive and let’s keep smiling, keep positive."Gino, listening to what his Covid customers need, now has a new terrace overlooking the river Tyne at his Newcastle restaurant. As well as this, the TV chef plans to open more restaurants across the country this year. These include restaurants in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. This comes after Gino had to speak out last month following reports his My Pasta Bar chain had gone into liquidation.Sharing a video from his kitchen at home, the Italian chef began: "When I got back I saw a lot of c**p about my restaurant."Apparently, my restaurant had gone into liquidation."Now, I don’t usually do stuff like this, but I thought, let me set the record straight here."About 10 years ago, I opened a business called Pasta Bar, which serves Italian food very fast

Kenney says federal government’s use of Emergencies Act ‘not necessary’ in Alberta
Trudeau invokes Emergencies Act for 1st time to aid convoy blockade response Kenney referenced the Critical Infrastructure Defence Act, legislation that allows law enforcement to arrest and fine anyone impeding what is deemed critical economic infrastructure, including railways and highways. He said the legislation gives the province sanctions “that are quite similar to the court injunction obtained by Ontario” to break up a blockade on the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ont., over the weekend.Kenney said he is concerned invoking the Emergencies Act could have the potential to make things worse at the Coutts blockade.“I think at this point, for the federal government to reach in over top of us, without offering anything in particular, would frankly be unhelpful,” Kenney said.“I think we need to find ways to effectively enforce without escalating the situation.” RCMP arrest 13 people, seize weapons and ammunition near Coutts border blockade Kenney’s comments come after several arrests were made and more than a dozen long guns, handguns, ammunition and body armour were seized at the blockade. The premier described the group as a “militant cell” and said it’s why there has been “a relatively light touch on enforcement.”It’s the first time the Emergencies Act has been enacted in Canada, which Trudeau said would have a time and geographic limitation to areas impacted by the blockades and where law enforcement deems the expanded powers are needed.According to Trudeau, the expanded powers will give police more tools for enforcement and allow the RCMP to enforce municipal bylaws and provincial offences where it’s necessary.“The potential for violent acts I think remains.
