Alfredo Morelos has offered an update on his return to Rangers training having flown back from Colombia. The striker has been on an extended summer break following the Copa America before he returned to his hometown of Cerete for a two-week family holiday.
The 25-year-old returned to Scotland and had been isolating amid Covid red tape holding up his Rangers training return. The restrictions mean anyone returning from either South American nation to Scotland must book in for a 10-day self-isolation stint at a quarantine hotel.
On Friday Steven Gerrard stated he expects him back "some time next week" as he missed the season opener against Livingston.
