WASHINGTON - A federal appeals court on Friday rejected a Trump administration finding that the active ingredient in the weed killer Roundup does not pose a serious health risk and is "not likely" to cause cancer in humans.The California-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to reexamine its 2020 finding that glyphosate did not pose a health risk for people exposed to it by any means -- on farms, yards or roadsides or as residue left on food crops. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Roundup, the most widely used herbicide in the world.

PHILADELPHIA - A firefighter is dead after an early morning fire caused a building to collapse in Fairhill, according to officials.Lieutenant Sean Williamson, a 27-year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department, was killed after a portion of the building collapsed.Crews responded to the fire as it broke out at a commercial building on the 300 block West Indiana Avenue around 2 a.m. They were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes. However, a large portion of the building collapsed as officials surveyed the damage and crews attended to displaced residents.Six people were reportedly trapped underneath the building, five firefighters and one license and inspections inspector.Five were rescued from the fire, including Fire Marshal Sylvester Burton, Lieutenant Clarence Johnson, Firefighter Dennis Bailey and Firefighter Robert Brennan, Jr., and transported to Temple University Hospital.

METTER, Ga. - Some Georgians woke up very early Saturday morning to the ground shaking.The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake about 20 miles west of Statesboro, Georgia near Metter, Georgia. It happened around 4:05 a.m. and measured a 3.9 magnitude. People have reported feeling the quake in Savannah, Bluffton, and Statesboro and as far away as Columbia, Augusta, Warner Robins and Atlanta, according to the National Weather Service.There were no reports of any major damage caused by the quake.

PHILADELPHIA - Another teen became the victim of a shooting after police say he was killed in North Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.Police say the victim, a boy between the ages of 15 and 18, was shot twice on the 1400 block of 14th Street around 12:27 p.m.He suffered one gunshot wound to the upper back, and one to the lower back.He was transported to Temple University Hospital by police, where he was later pronounced dead.No arrests have been made, and no weapons recovered at this time.

POTTSTOWN, Pa. - Neighbors are waking up to the aftermath of a deadly house explosion in Pottstown. According to authorities, emergency personnel responded to the 400 block of North Washington Street for reports of an explosion on Thursday night around 8 p.m. Pottstown Borough Manager Justin Keller announced four fatalities and said two people may be missing. Pottstown resident Steven Diamond spoke to FOX 29's Steve Keeley on Friday morning as he was outside observing the damage. He says he was in bed when he heard an "extreme intense noise" that he says shook the neighborhood. Diamond says he ran outside and saw a scene that "looked like an apocalypse." The American Red Cross of Southern Pennsylvania says it provided about seven families with emergency assistance, including, shelter, food and emotional support. The local high school reopened at 8 a.m.
